The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Education Program (P.R.E.P.) offers one-on-one support to help individuals with mental illness work toward independence, confidence, and personal fulfillment. Our trained practitioners meet with participants throughout Montgomery County, offering direct guidance in everyday situations.
Through P.R.E.P., participants work on specific goals that align with their needs, whether it’s finding a job, securing housing, or improving social skills.
Members identify key areas of growth in living, learning, working, or socialization.
Meetings are held in community settings that align with each individual’s goals.
Assistance with job applications, housing searches, and community integration.
Services are mobile, adapting to each participant’s availability and needs.
P.R.E.P. individual services are available to:
▶︎ Adults (18+) diagnosed with mental illness seeking support in life skill development.
▶︎ Individuals who want to gain independence in daily living, employment, or education.
▶︎ Those looking for structured guidance from trained professionals to achieve personal goals.
At Hedwig House, we believe that independence comes from more than just support—it comes from having a home, a job, and a friend. That’s why our programs are designed to help individuals build stability, self-sufficiency, and community.
Hedwig House stands out because we offer:
We focus on practical skills and real-world applications instead of clinical treatment.
Support tailored to each individual’s unique goals and challenges.
We meet individuals where they are, helping them navigate real-life situations.
